Business Development Manager

In order to achieve our development plan over the coming years we are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to secure a pre-qualified flow of project negotiation and tender opportunities within the London façade market for both commercial and large scale residential opportunities and close business to deliver the revenue target plan. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have sound technical and commercial knowledge of façade systems and have a compelling sales personality with a hunger to chase and close new business from clients, end users and contractors alike.

Contacting potential clients, project managers, quantity surveyors and architects to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new project opportunities.
Increasing the flow of opportunities from current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events gaining knowledge of the market and competitors’ activities.
Developing project qualification questionnaires and budget proposals for clients.
Actively contribute to the pre-construction team and key decisions on which opportunities are tendered
Actively communicate with external stakeholders as to the status of their tenders within the pre-construction department


Ideally educated to degree level with 10 years’ experience in the construction industry.
Wide and established contacts with contractors, architects and QS’s in the London market.
Extensive commercial experience in the London facades market.
Good technical knowledge of commercial fenestration systems, glass types and envelope cladding systems, materials and specifications.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance be proactive at a very senior level and handle uncertainty.
IT fluent and proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Comfortable computer user for various tasks.

Estimator – Curtain Walling/Glazing – Mildenhall

A crucial company role preparing full tender submissions from detailed drawings and specifications, primarily on large glazing packages which encompass a broad spectrum of other trades and materials to provide a total envelope package, typically ranging from £5m to £15m.

The successful candidate will be welcomed into a fast-paced environment, where no two jobs are the same, and will have the ability to identify, assess, inject new ideas, Value Engineer, scope and communicate issues that may have design, cost or time implications. Provide total project cost summaries from first principles and provide technical tender submission documents with assumptions, exclusions and pricing schedules.

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Scrutinise enquiries.
  • Assess technical issues.
  • Prepare take-offs and material schedules.
  • Prepare subcontract enquiries and evaluate quotations.
  • Prepare outline programmes.
  • Coordinate subcontract packages.
  • Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors and architects.
  • Participate in tender handover meetings.
  • Undertake quantity take-offs and scheduling.
  • Produce estimates from first principles.
  • Work on multiple tenders and budgets.

EAG Design/Technical Manager, based at Mildenhall/Attleborough

Reporting directly to the Construction Director with responsibility for a design team of 19.  The ideal candidate will have Design Management experience for Curtain Wall/Glazing/Façade projects.

 Responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating and managing the programming of both internal and external design resources whilst working to a budget.
  • Providing direction and drive to the design office and external designers.
  • Implementing measures within the team to identify and capture variations at source and notify Project Managers.
  • Liaising closely with pre construction team to ensure that the design is in accordance with the product sold.
  • Weekly reviews with Senior Designers and present an overview at Operational meetings.
  • Implement Measures within the team to submit technical data for approval on a project by project basis.
  • Continuous development of the team by identifying any skill deficiencies.
  • Identifying & implementing training
  • Consideration of other strategies to reduce any associated costs, for example Structural Engineer, consultants.
  • Monitor/Review design in the team before being released to the client.
  • Strong design knowledge of glazing, cladding and façade technology.
  • Familiar with design software packages to include:  Autocad, Solidworks, Revit
  • Ensure CDM is implemented in the design.
  • Understanding of BIM.
  • Responsible for overseeing the Design office in Cannock and to include regular visits.

Sales & Marketing Coordinator, based in Mildenhall Suffolk

As the Sales & Marketing Coordinator, the main purpose of the role is to support the sales and estimating department with the fulfilment of administrational tasks both within the office and customer facing together with delivering the marketing functions including pre-qualification documents, newsletters, photography, all social media and web site management.

What you will be doing:

  • Be the first contact for incoming telephone sales enquiries
  • Collate and log all incoming client enquiries and communications to the sales register
  • Download tender enquiry information from clients links and organise to project folders
  • Liaise with clients for missing or defective information
  • Update sales team comments, project and client activities on CRM
  • Log outgoing tenders values and dates to register
  • Produce and compile weekly estimating activity reports
  • Complete and issue all pre-qualification questionnaires to clients
  • Prepare digital presentation proposal material (Powerpoint)
  • Undertake the production, content and publication of internal digital newsletters
  • Organise and manage external project photography
  • Organise and setting up webinars internal supplier seminars/CPD’s
  • Provide administrative support to the estimating team as required (say organise a courier or print some documents etc.)
  • Chase suppliers for incoming quotes to deadlines if requested
  • Manage the company website and social media platforms

What do you need to be successful?

    • Proven track record in sector or similar role with transferrable skills
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Pro and WordPress
    • Good standard of education
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Word/Excel
    • Understanding of a CRM system
    • Strong planning and organisation skills

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm based at our offices in Mildenhall.


Designers – Mildenhall, Attleborough and Cannock

Successful applicants will have experience in façade design and engineering, including curtain walling systems, thermally broken aluminium doors and windows, and rainscreen cladding systems, and will be a strong team player across multiple projects. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks are essential.

Applicants will be used to handling their own projects and work load with minimal supervision, and possess a high level of organisation and communication skills. Capable of prioritising their own workload from their own initiative, whilst providing support to the Design Manager and other members of the team.

Ideally educated to HNC, HND, or Degree Level in a construction or façade design related subject, as well as having an existing knowledge and understanding of the façade and cladding industry.  This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm based at our offices at Mildenhall, Attleborough and Cannock.
