Norfolk & Norwich Hospital

This hospital was completed in 2002 on the outskirts of Norwich, to replace a mix of Victorian and 1960’s buildings that comprised the old hospital in the city centre.
One of the first Private Finance Initiative (PFI) buildings to have been completed, EAG are proud to have been selected to design, fabricate and install the atria glazing, curtain walling, brise soleil and windows on this prestigious project.
Dominated by two large atria, the hospital incorporates courtyards and gardens, allowing for natural daylight and flexible spaces. The hospital received the accolade “NHS best designed hospital project award 2002”.
