English Architectural Glazing has been appointed by Willmott Dixon to design, fabricate and install the curtain walling, bolted entrance glazing, louvres ,dampers and grilles in addition to the main bespoke steel feature glass atrium and bespoke rooflights throughout the scheme.

Work on the £23m Harlow school started in January 2010. The building is a two-storey radial design by Architect Jestico + Whiles and will accommodate 12,000 students. Its naturally-ventilated design will be constructed predominantly from timber, and will use biomass boilers as a part of its heat source. The project has been well-received by Essex Design Initiative (EDI), who have commended the school’s design as “exemplar”.
