English Architectural Glazing installs stainless steel mesh solar shading at London South Bank University’s £25m Keyworth II development. EAG are nearing completion of their contract with Kier London for the design, manufacture and installation of solar shaded curtain walling and associated areas of metal and terracotta rain screen cladding.
This landmark Grimshaw designed building will have sustainability at the core of its design philosophy incorporating a roof level energy centre and a ground coupled closed loop geothermal heating/cooling system. The completed building will accommodate the Health and Social Care Faculty as well as the Department of Education, and provide facilities for the Academy of Sport, Physical Activity and Wellbeing.
