EAG have been appointed by contractor Kier London to design, manufacture and install Schüco windows & doors, finished externally in a striking mixture of solar shaded curtain walling, metal cladding and terracotta rain screen tiles as part of the £19m development for the South Bank University.
This landmark Nicholas Grimshaw designed building, will have sustainability at the core of its design philosophy incorporating a roof level energy centre and a ground coupled closed loop geothermal heating/cooling system and will accommodate the health and Social Care Faculty as well as the University Sports Science and Education departments.
EAG expects to complete its contract at Keyworth II in May 09 adding to a line of successfully completed educational project undertaken by our company.
