English Architectural Glazing Ltd (EAG) has secured a contract worth £2.9m from Wilson Bowden Developments to work on the new 103,000sq ft Belvedere office development on Booth Street, Manchester.
EAG will undertake extensive work to the exterior of the eight storey landmark building. This will include the installation of curtain walling, and terracotta and aluminium rain screen cladding.
Designed by AEDAS Architects, the building which is located in the hub of Manchester’s business district, boasts secure underground parking and private terraces with stunning views over the city. It will also feature a large, double height entrance foyer and reception area with media wall.
Once completed early next year, Belvedere will offer sophisticated Grade A office space housed within a shell of dark grey terracotta tiles, metallic silver rain screens and dark grey granite.
