EAG wins Wimbledon contract
English Architectural Glazing Ltd (EAG) has been awarded a further contract with Gallifordtry for work at Wimbledon’s Centre Court.
The contract will involve the design, supply and installation of a variety of glazing systems. The systems specified by EAG are Schuco FW 60+ SG curtain walling, AME composite cladding, AME Aria aluminium louvres, Pelicolour rainscreens and Solarlux SL81 folding sliding doors.
The project forms part of The All England Lawn Tennis Club’s long term development plan for the world famous sporting venue featuring a retractable roof which will prevent play from being suspended due to rain. The improvements to Centre Court are scheduled for completion in time for the 2009 Championships.
