Anglia-based English Architectural Glazing has just completed work on one

Hans Crescent has undergone a multi-million facelift and has become a much sort after new office and retail centre in London.

Using RS65 window and FW 50+ curtain wall systems from Schuco International, EAG installed storey high glazed elements on three prominent facades, complete with the brise soliel solar shading.
High performance double glazed units comprising 6mm heat soaked toughened inner pane and 8.8mm marinated outer pane with Silverstar Select coating delivered the thermal and acoustic specifications requirements.
In addition, a bespoke carrier system was designed and installed in front of the glazed areas to support the feature terracotta baguettes which EAG imported specifically for the project from Sannini in Florence, Italy.
The bolted glass entrance façade and stunning internal atrium walling with feature aluminium aerofoil shading where also part of EAG’s complete one-stop package.
EAG managing director, Simon Gladwin said: “We are very pleased to have worked with our partners Galliford Try and Paul Davis & Partners on this project, and are delighted with the overall outcome and what was a very restricted and difficult site. In particular the terracotta looks superb, and compliments facades of other buildings in the immediate area.”
