A Suffolk firm has just been served an ace of a contract for The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon.
English Architectural Glazing (EAG), in Mildenhall, is one of the UK's leading firms in providing glass curtain walling and has netted the contract to install the glazing at the new turnstile building in SW19.
Managing director Simon Gladwin said: "This is one of the most exciting projects we've been involved with. Not only will the new building look tremendous but also this is the home of tennis and we as a firm are delighted to be involved."
"It's also a real boost to the local economy that an East Anglian company is one of the major players in such an important scheme."
EAG is also engaged in building programmes including work for a new library at the Open University, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the multi-million pound New Providence Wharf luxury apartments in London.
