New look HQ for expanding major Suffolk firm

One of Suffolk’s leading firms has undergone a major face lift at its Mildenhall HQ.

English Architectural Glazing, based on the town’s industrial estate at Chiswick Avenue, has invested tens of thousands of pounds to improve the quality of its office accommodation. The facelift includes an enlarged reception and better working facilities for staff.

EAG employs over a hundred people split between its HQ in Mildenhall and numerous sites around the UK where the firm is engaged in huge contracts to fit glazing and curtain walling.

Managing Director, Simon Gladwin, said: “These structural improvements to our HQ are an essential part of our expansion plans. We have grown to become one of the best known architectural glazing companies in the UK and we now have offices that are equipped to deal with our increasing number of national and international clients.”

EAG is engaged in some of the UK most ambitious building programmes including work for a new library at the Open University, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the multi-million pound New Providence Wharf luxury apartments in London.
