Following a successful career in electrical engineering, where he rose to the role of Senior Project Engineer of BBC Fire Protection Ltd in 1993, Simon made the decision to switch industries, joining EAG as project manager in 1996. This enabled him to utilise his existing project management skills, with successive promotions following to the roles of Senior Project Manager in 1998, Construction Manager in 2000, Construction Director in 2002, and finally to Managing Director in 2003. Simon headed up the successful MBO of the Company from previous owner Norman Sheldrake, in 2005.
A
graduate of Loughborough University, Jeremy joined international accountants
KPMG in 1985, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987. Following
spells in industry and commerce with Philips Electronics and Norwich Union,
he joined The Polestar Group, Europe’s largest commercial printing
group in 1993 as Financial Controller, becoming Finance Director of one
of their operations in 1997. A move to EAG followed in 2001, as Financial
Director, responsible for finance, purchasing and IT.
Edward’s
career began at Structure-Flex Ltd in 1983, which he joined as sales office
junior, rising to Area Sales Representative in 1985. This was followed by
a move to EAG in 1985, to whom he has given unbroken service ever since.
Initially Sales Executive, Edward moved to Sales Manager in 1988, and was
appointed to the board in 1992. Currently Pre Construction Director, he
is responsible for the entire sales performance of EAG. With such an extensive
period of service in the industry, Edward’s technical knowledge of
the EAG product range, and of the market, is second to none.
Charles’
CV boasts almost 30 years of experience in the glazing industry. From 1976
to 1986 he worked for Sahara Windows Ltd, working his way up to Installation
Director. He then moved to Panavista Ltd, where he held the
roles of Installation Manager, Deputy Head of Operations, and Project Manager.
In 1989 he moved to EAG, initially as Technical Sales Representative.
Promoted to Business Development Director in 2000, his role includes securing
new sales targets, whilst developing relationships with new & existing
clients, architects, local authorities, developers and specifiers.
Following graduation from university in 1994, Matthew spent 4 years working in the industrial building sector where he represented the client as project manager. After a change in industry in 1998 and a year in the UK curtain walling sector, Matthew spent 5 years working in Dubai for a prominent local façade specialist, rising from deputy project manager to a senior level responsible for the successful management of very large multi-facetted contracts.
Returning to the UK in 2005 Matthew joined EAG as Construction Manager and was promoted to Construction Director in 2007.
